OIL PAINTINGS

My oil paintings often have as their theme the landscape, flora and fauna of the Pacific Northwest. My hope is that if I can eloquently depict the magnificence of my home state, perhaps I can inspire others to join me in my concern to protect it. I feel particularly challenged to paint in oils in a climate that, unlike the south of France or California, is often grey and leaden, yet as a fourth generation Washingtonian, it comes naturally to me to “embrace the grey.”
